Fall Fun - Soccer and trucks

Woohoo, it is officially fall!  Which means I am officially a soccer mom, again.  Woohoo!

George kicked off his season (yes, pun intended) with his 1st grade boys team for Sacred Heart.  He is paying more attention during the games this year and getting into the action.  We are proud of you George.

George is #4.
George heading back up the field.  It was almost the end of the game, he looks a little tired.
Zack is playing with the 4th grade boys Sacred Heart team.  He likes to play defense so he is in the backfield or mid-field most of the time.

In Andy's world, touch a truck day is heaven so we headed out to a local vehicle day.  Andy wouldn't leave until he had seen, touched, sat in and/or honked horns in every single vehicle.  Isn't it great to be a 4 year old boy?  The bigger boys enjoyed it too until the ambulance pulled in a bit late.  Zack decided he was done and didn't want to wait.  Andy would have nothing to do with that plan so guess what, we waited and got on the ambulance.

Andy still talks about sitting in the trailer truck that has a bed in the cab behind the seats..

Andy in the back.  Please let this be the only time I ever see him in the back of the cop car!

George, Zack, Mary and Andy hanging out in the wheel loader bucket.

Zack is ever the proud big brother of Mary.

We can sit in the wheel Mommy!

Now they get to try out the fire hose.

Andy with the fire hose.  Thank goodness there wasn't any water or he would have turned it on.
Let's ride.
Zack and Andy on the ambulance.  Andy was very surprised to learn he rode in an ambulance when he was nine months old.  He was being transferred to a children's hospital for eventual emergency surgery.  Everything turned out fine but that is a ride his mommy will never forget!

  1. Touch a truck events are the best! Henry has been to quite few already and they never get old. The garbage truck was the biggest hit for Henry at the last one we went too. A yellow firetruck and ambulance...those would go with Henry's yellow fireman hat. We haven't convinced Henry to sit in a wheel loader bucket yet.
