The Swayne Family: WDW - Day 6, Epcot, November 20

Everyone slept all night on Monday night. No one threw up. Everyone ate a banana for breakfast. We decided to venture out to Epcot on Tuesday and see how it went. Joe stayed home with Mary. She was still running a low temp. and not feeling well and Joe wasn't feeling the greatest either. I took

Zack, George and Andy with me. We picked out our top 5 list of things to do and tried not to push it too much. We had a dinner reservation for that evening and Joe said, "we're going to that dinner if all we eat is bread".

Today was Bruce the Shark shirts (from "Finding Nemo") that say, "Fish are friends, not food".

Joe said this picture looks like I'm on vacation. I'm just excited not to be in a hotel room with a bunch of sick kids!

Ready for a day of adventure

We went straight to the Clam Shell ride (Nemo and Friends) and got on with no wait.

Then we checked out the aquarium.

We saw a sea turtle right next to the glass eating his food. We sat and watched him for quite awhile.

George was on the hunt all week for "hidden Mickeys", he pronounces it "hooden". If you keep your eyes peeled, you'll find Mickey heads in all sorts of unique places at Disney World. George was so tickled when he spotted this "hooden" Mickey on the floor of the aquarium.

A highlight of the trip for Zack was Agent P's World Showcase Adventure. Agent P is Perry the Platypus from Phineas and Ferb. We checked in and received a F.O.N.E. programmed with special information for a mission in one of countries of Epcot's World Showcase. We chose to do our mission in Mexico. Once you're in the country, you receive messages on the phone that direct you to various locations to thwart Dr. Doofenschmirtz's evil plan. Then you program a code into the phone and something happens, for instance, the guitar in the store plays, the parrot in the cage talks and the volcano explodes. It was big fun for all the boys.

This is where we signed in.

Each country in Epcot has a Kidcot station where kids can color a puppet and get a stamp from the country. The boys were busy working on their very own Agent P.

We ate lunch in Mexico and then started to make our way back to the exit. We stopped a couple of times and then headed back to the resort for swimming/rest before dinner.

Andy was trying on the Goofy hat to show Daddy so we had to take a picture. Goofy is Joe's favorite character.

We got everyone cleaned up and ready to ride the bus and monorail to dinner at the Grand Floridian resort. We had dinner at 1900 Park Fare with Prince Charming, Cinderella and her evil stepmother and stepsisters and ate all kinds of tasty food, not just bread.
