We spent Friday at the Magic Kingdom. Today was blue Mickey shirts for the boys and Mary. I got the idea of getting matching shirts for each day from a friend. I bought them online
at Disney.com before the trip. The kids really got a kick out of them and it is so much easier to keep track of the kids that way.

The first thing we did was Mickey's Philharmagic show. A 3D musical animated show, it was a favorite of everyone. Then we headed to Fantasyland and met up with Ariel in her grotto.

We got to see part of the new Fantasyland that is opening soon. They've added a castle, the one from Beauty and the Beast, and a second Dumbo ride and there is lots more under construction. After a couple of rides, it was time for the Pooh and Friends lunch at the Crystal Palace.

We went back to Fantasyland after lunch for the Pooh ride, Dumbo and Great Goofini - a little kid roller coaster. I rode the Dumbo ride with George while Zack and Andy were in front of us in the next Dumbo. I really enjoyed it, my first time on this one. Since they have two Dumbo rides now, we were able to get a FastPass for the ride and didn't have to wait long.

Zack and George really enjoyed Goofini. We did a parent swap so they could go again. If a ride has a height restriction, you can ask for a parent swap pass. One parent rides with the kids while the other parents stays with the kid(s) who can't go. Then the parent who waited goes through the Fast Pass line using the parent swap pass to ride with the kids. Next, we got on the train and rode around the perimeter of the park and got off at Frontier Land.

The Magic Kingdom is the happiest place on earth, until 4 p.m. Then everyone starts getting tired and cranky. Joe decided to take Mary, George and Andy back to the resort for swimming/rest. Zack and I stayed to do a few more rides.

While the little boys played in a heated pool, Zack and I rode Splash Mountain. This was Zack's first time doing any kind of rides like that, he's never been to Six Flags. He enjoyed it.

We took a snack break while we waited for our Fast Pass time on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Zack's favorite ride of the whole trip was the Thunder Mountain Railroad. He even put his hands up like his mommy on this fairly tame but very fun roller coaster. Then we did the Haunted Mansion and finished up for the day.
