It was really disappointing on Sunday that we couldn't all spend the day together. Well, be careful what you wish for. We all got to spend Monday together. As in really close together. Nice and cozy in one hotel room with one bathroom together.
Sunday night was a rough night. Zack and Mary both woke up in the middle of the night getting sick and then Joe went down. Apparently George's stomach bug had caught up with the rest of us. By Monday morning, Andy and I were the only ones left who were not sick. Yikes! I immediately called housekeeping to clean our room. Next, I talked to our Disney travel consultant, who booked the trip for us. She was able to get our trip extended by a day since we weren't going anywhere today. Finally, I cancelled our lunch reservations and got a bunch of quarters to do laundry. Andy and I spent the day watching over our sad, sick clan of Swaynes, keeping them hydrated and trying not to get whatever they all had. The other bummer was it was 60 and cloudy so it was not even warm enough for Andy to go swimming while I did the laundry. We did make it to the playground. So in lieu of pictures of the day's activities, here's an overview of our resort.

| Our room was on the top floor, right hand corner |
We were very happy with our room location. These resorts are so big you can walk pretty far just to get to the restaurant and main pool. We were close to both, it was great.
 |
| The Mill, on the Sassagoula river, was the main food court for the resort and we were very close to it. |
 |
| This bridge was right outside our front door. You cross the bridge to get to the main feature pool. |

Andy and I enjoyed whole grain Mickey waffles for breakfast. Yum!
One neat feature of the room was the trundle bed. When folded up, it provides a nice sized bench for people, or stuffed animals. Do you think we have enough of them? There are also three drawers along the bottom.

When you open it up, it is a kid sized bed for the night. The boys took turns sleeping on it. Looks like Zack is almost too long for it!

George was wearing his Buzz shirt since he didn't get to wear it to the Magic Kingdom the day before.

The main feature pool of the Port Orleans Riverside was very fun with a water slide and several water features. The pool is heated so it feels pretty good in the water even though the temps. never got about the 70s while we were there. This area also has a hot tub, baby pool, hammocks and a pool side bar. The bar makes a great skinny girl coconut mojito.

There were also several leisure pools at the resort for a more low key swim.

| I thought this was a neat feature. A climbing structure made to look like a water wheel . |
