Check out the little man moving around with his cast. He was a bit cranky when we filmed it but you do see him in action. He moves around very well, just can't sneak up on you on the hardwood floors. Andrew goes to the doctor on Monday for another x-ray and hopefully we'll leave the office cast free!
A few random observations about this strange week of heavy rains, floods and unexpected extra time with the kids:
1. Our mail came on Monday and Tuesday despite several road closures. I'm not sure how the mail lady got here Monday. The post office lived up to their saying about delivering the mail no matter what the weather.
2. Going to the liquor store with three boys is a sure way to get excellent customer service. The sooner you leave, the better.
3. When I told George he didn't have preschool on Tuesday, he kept asking, "then where are we going Mommy?" My kids assume we must be going somewhere. So I answered him in George's own words, "none where George, we're going none where".
4. We had soccer practice tonight for the first time in two weeks. I've never been so excited to go to soccer practice.
