Winter Wonderland

Lots of snow is big news in St. Louis.  We'll get an inch or two here and there, but 8 - 12 inches in one day doesn't happen very often.  I captured a few pictures throughout the day as the snow fell on us from 11 p.m. last night until 5 p.m. this evening.
The view from our front door just as it was getting dark.
The neighbor's magnolia tree in the backyard.

He was posing for me.
Our window bird feeder early in the day.
Notice more snow on the feeder as the day went on.

A bird eating and taking cover for a moment.

Duck is getting buried in the snow under the table on our deck!
The deck by evening.
The snow on the deck steps looks pretty cool.

Our pretty angel on the front porch and in the distance you can see our spiral tree that is partially buried.
