Ringing in 2014

We rang in the new year with the kids yesterday by celebrating New Year's at noon.  The kids just love doing this each year.  We made hats, Andy and I made a banner and we had the balloon drop with 65 balloons.  The balloon drop is their absolute favorite.  See if you can find all the kids in the balloons. 

Andy wanted to buy a banner at Target the other day.  I told him we could make one so we did.

He was working hard getting all those balloons over the side.

Here they are.

We toasted with sparkling grape juice and champagne after dinner.  Then we played an excellent round of Apples to Apples Jr.  The kids went to bed at their normal time and I actually made it up until midnight with Joe. 

The boys got to use real champagne glasses.  They think that is so cool.
