Collages
Andy created a collage on the sticky side of a sheet of clear contact paper. Then he pressed it onto a piece of paper. Voila, instant art with no drying needed.

Sun Catcher
Andy started this project in week 2. He added lots of glue to the lid from an ice cream container and then various beads and sequins. The glue was finally dry so today he popped it out from the ice cream lid, punched a hole in the top and added a pipe cleaner. Now he can hang his sun catcher in the window.
Salad Spinner Painting
This station was Andy's favorite from all four weeks of class. He put a circle piece of paper in the salad spinner, added paint, put the lid on and spun and spun his paper. He experimented with using more and less paint to see if it would change the result. He probably would have stayed here all morning if there weren't other children waiting for a turn.

Wire Sculpture
He strung beads on the wires and moved the wires to create different shapes. Next to him is a Ziploc bag with a gel collage that he took home. It has various shapes and pieces in it to mush and move around. |

Ice Painting
This station contained hunks of ice for the kids to paint with watercolor paints. There was also a container of salt to brush on the ice to see what it would do.

Stencils
The stencils are a part of the art studio for visitors to use anytime they come to visit. Andy wanted to check them out.

Button Snowflakes
Andy was going to bypass this station so I sat down and started a snowflake. Then he decided to join me. We glued a variety of white buttons to the snowflakes made from cool popsicle sticks.
