The Pinewood Derby sped into action on January 5 with two racers in the family this year.
The boys took their cars to weigh in on...
Friday night and left them there for the races on Saturday morning. The boys didn't get their cars back until after the races were over and the design contest judging was done.

Zack's den, the Webelos 1, raced later in the morning. He came in right at the start of his races due to a basketball game across town.

The boys didn't win any speed or design awards this year. They were both very good about it, no one got upset. I'm proud of them and they had fun designing and building their cars with Daddy.
