It was our first time to this racetrack and we had a fun night. We got to catch up with some old friends, visit with new friends, and of course watch the cars zoom by!
Every time a car went by, Andy said, "whoa."
We were in a building with a suite right on the track overlooking turn 3.
George decided the cars sounded like thunder and he did NOT like how loud it was outside.
Everyone is covering up their ears and this was only one car going by.
Three boys in a bucket
Zack's baseball opening day was on Saturday. The weather cooperated with sunshine and temps. in the 50's. They have a team parade in the morning where they announce the team and each child's name as the kids walk around the ball field. His first game with the Dodgers was that afternoon, a pre-season game. Yes, pre-season games in t-ball, who knew. The Dodgers played well and won. At this age level, they coach pitch the first two pitches to each hitter and then give them the tee for the third pitch if they haven't hit the ball and you can strike out. Zack went 3-3 and made some nice plays at second base. He threw out two guys at first base, yay Zack!
Joe took Zack to see the motorcross races last weekend at the Georgia Dome. Racecars and motorcycles, what a life!
Sounds like you had a great week! If George thinks one car sounds like thunder, don't take him to Bristol with 40 cars running in an over sized football stadium. They call it Thunder Valley.
