Joe's eye surgery

Joe had eye surgery on Wednesday to correct the cataract in his left eye.  The surgeon took out the lens and replaced it with a new one.  Everything went well and Joe was seeing 20/20 today at the follow-up appointment with the eye surgeon.  Hooray for Joe!  He said last time he went to the eye doctor prior to the surgery, he couldn't even see the big letter E on the eye chart.  While he was in surgery, I took his glasses to the optical dept. and they changed out his left lense for a clear one.
We've been quite busy this week with all things medical.  Joe wins the prize for most appts.: dentist, eye surgery, eye surgery follow-up, doctor's office for flu shot and sleep clinic consultation.  Andrew is the runner-up with orthopaedic doctor and pediatrician.  I get an honorable mention for getting my flu shot.  Thankfully we are all doing well and in good shape.

October is here, wow!  Joe was not allowed to drive today so I've been doing extra duty on the family chaffeur service. Not a problem since it is a beautiful fall day in Georgia...sunny, 70 and not a cloud in the sky.  Enjoy!
