Andy spent another busy morning creating at the Magic House's art studio. Today he made prints, created a salt painting, made a sculpture, played with water beads and shaving cream and used dough paint. He really enjoys
the variety of activities and the mediums used. He was busy trying to get everything done today.
Salt Painting
This was Andy's favorite station of the day. First Andy made a design with glue on a piece of black paper. Next he sprinkled (okay, dumped) salt on the glue and shook the excess off. Then he painted the salt with watercolors. It turned out really neat.

Snow Sculptures
Two tubs of white "snow" were on the table to build a snowman or anything you wanted with the snow. It appeared to be homemade white play dough.

Print Making Station
Andy created two different types of prints at this station. The first print was made by painting the bottoms of a muffin pan and then pressing it onto a piece of paper. The second print involved painting a surface, drawing a design in the paint with a q-tip and then pressing the paper onto the surface. Andy made several prints, he really got into it.

Dough Paint Station
The kids squirted the paint onto a heavy duty piece of paper to make a design. When the paint dries, it looks like dried play dough.
