over the table, then add hot chocolate to it to make it brown and spray it with a water bottle. Then he drove rollers and cars through it to make designs. He chose this activity first and could hardly break himself away to do the other projects. He was back at this station at the end. What fun!

Water Beads
The two tubs are filled with water beads and various scoopers and containers to play with them. The water beads are actually designed to use for watering plants. When you fill them with water they expand and when left out for a few days, the beads dehydrate and go back to their original size.

Sun Catcher
Andy made a sun catcher from a plastic ice cream lid. He dumped a little tub of glue on it and added all kinds of decorations. Next week it will have a hole punched on one end with string through it to hang it in the window.

Watercolor Painting
The paper already had a swirly design on it made with rubber cement. He painted over it with watercolors and we'll see what it looks like next week with the rubber cement peeled off. Mary did a little painting while we were sitting with Andy. She liked it. |
Splatter Paint Box
We slid a piece of paper into the bottom of the box with rubber bands stretched across it. Then he painted over the rubber bands and the paint splattered onto the paper.
