Happy Birthday to George!

Birthday season 2011 is officially underway in the Swayne household.  George in Feb., Jen and Andy in March and Joe in April.  A belated and very happy birthday to our big five year old George.  He had a wonderful birthday on Feb. 14.  This kid knows how to celebrate.  He is a joyful soul and loves a good party.  Hmmmmm.....maybe he got that from his mommy and daddy.

Our house is finally starting to feel like home.  My parents came for a visit and helped jump start us on decorating.  We've hung quite a few pictures and added finishing touches to the main floor.  The toy room in the basement is shaping up too.  The first time we've had an official play room.  It is awesome.

Joe also updated our master closet with new lighting, paint and shelves.  Wow, what a difference!

Closing thoughts, please keep my Grandpa Powers in your prayers (pictured below in January with 12 of his 17 great grandchildren).  He's been battling health issues lately and pray also for Grandma and all those caring for him.  And congratulations to my cousin Monica and her husband Ben on the birth of their first child, Kennedy Jean.  She arrived on March 4th and is absolutely precious.  Now Grandpa has 18 great grandkids!
