Remember that giant moving truck in front of our house? (Scroll down to see it again). We filled it up.
5 guys, 2 days of packing, 1 long day of loading. They closed the doors on Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. in the midst of an ice storm. The first two days of the week were cold for Atlanta, temps. in the 20s, with high winds. I heard more than one discussion amongst the movers on who was going to pack the garage. It was not a coveted job. Of course by Friday when we left town, it was back up up to 50 degrees. The truck arrived in Missouri and our stuff is in storage until we move into the new house in January.
As for the people from the people house, the kids finished up their week at school and we left town on Friday, Dec. 17. It was so bittersweet to leave St. Rose Academy knowing we would not be back in January when Christmas break is over. And pulling out of the driveway at the house, well, there were a few tears there too.

Jen - we'll miss you! Candi
