Zack celebrated his 6
th birthday on July 27
th. Birthdays are so fun and exciting at this age, he enjoyed every bit of it. He chose to go for a bike ride on the Silver Comet trail that morning and we also hit the toy store to use a gift card he received.
Look at that smile....

One of his favorite gifts, the remote control Hummer that Joe picked out for him.

Birthday morning bike ride

Zack also had a water party to celebrate his birthday. We had three kiddie pools, a slip 'n slide, a sprinkler, 20 kids, 15 adults and perfect outdoor party weather, hot but nice in the shade. Our driveway is totally shaded in the afternoon so the adults hung out there and the kids had a ball playing in the water. The kids all got their own water guns too.
Zack made the birthday sign himself with dot markers.

He picked the baseball cake out at the store. First he wanted a golf cake (I think it was because there was a little golf cart toy on it).

Water fun
Nice birthday shirt, Zack. We approve.
ReplyDeleteLove the pic of 5 boys standing on the slip 'n slide. Not much sliding going on, but it looked like fun. The one of Zack jumping in is cute, too.
Happy birthday to Zack-a-doo!
That was quite a birthday party! The Buckley's should be quite proud about Zack wearing that ugly TX shirt for his birthday party with just the fam too. I can't believe Zack is 6 already! Love, Aunt Dude
