Halloween Fun

Happy Halloween!

(This picture was taken Halloween night, looks like my camera has the wrong date).

We had a great time last week leading up to Halloween....
Daddy and the boys carved pumpkins.  Andrew really had fun digging out the stuff.

The little boys wore their costumes to our weekly playgroup.  On the way there I thought, it's not too often you drive around town with a frog and a zebra in your car.

We went to Zack's party at school on Friday.

We made a craft at home, jar pumpkins.  Thanks to my sister Julie for the idea and the link to the website for the instructions, click here.

Then Zack came down with the flu and pneumonia on Halloween day, poor guy. He is doing much better now and went back to school on Thursday. He missed trick or treating but was really a trooper and didn't complain at all.

Joe took Andrew and George to Publix, a local grocery store, for trick or treating while I took Zack to urgent care.  When we got home, George informed me that we were going to LOTS of houses Mommy.  He loves candy so I think Halloween ranks right up there for George as a favorite holiday.  It was raining so Andrew stayed home and we went with the neighbors, umbrellas in tow.  George and I took along an extra bucket for Zack so he has a nice stash of candy.  We had a good time and the rain stopped by the time we got home.

The other two boys had their share of sickness this week too.  Our kitchen counter looks like a drugstore and I think we've gone through a can of Clorox wipes and Lysol spray.  It has been a long week!  Thankfully everyone is on the mend.  Time to get ready for our Halloween party tomorrow night.

Well, I'm glad your boys are all sick now rather then in a couple weeks when we will see you and you can meet HENRY! Love, Dude
